Los Spurs win by one! March 14.

Yesterday was a busy day, so we decided to be low key today. Pam ran some errands, and I did absolutely nothing except lounge in the sun. It was about 80 degrees, and we spent the afternoon at the pool. We then got ready and went into town and went to an NBA game between the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Mavericks. The home team won, 92-91, so it was a good game. The AT&T Center was a new facility that just recently replaced the Alamo dome. We had upper level seats that were as cheap as they get in the NBA, which is to say, pretty steep. The upper level was pretty steep also so we could look right down on the game. As far as I know we saw at least two guys who will be in the hall of fame some day, ( Tim Duncan, 28 points, and Dirk Nowitski, 21 points), and two other guys who were Olympians (Manu Ginobli, and Vince Carter. ) we stayed around after the game and listened to a band called Jaime ( pronounced Hymie) and Los Chamacos, playing Tejano music. It's two guitars, drums, and an accordion, singing in Spanish, and sounding like Mexican Polka. Everyone knew the words except us, and needless to say, it was a real unique experience.

Before the game, just hanging out with the Spur's cheerleaders.
