Mike is Retired!
Well, it's official! Mike is retired! He stopped in Morgantown to visit at Wamsley's bike shop and to pick-up his supplies for the big trip. So we now have extra tires chains etc. we also have the old Soma bike as his back up. He's now on his way to Rodanthe NC for some fun in the sun and some FLAT bike trips! Congratulations sweetie, we are now gypsies who can roll on down the highway any time we want! Let the fun begin!

Well here I am, 16 days into retirement and sitting on the deck of our beach home (32 foot RV but it's home!). Everyone keeps asking me how it feels to be retired - well I don't know! I'm used to being on vacation this time of year! It will hit me on August 20 when all my friends at Peters Township High School go back for the first day of in-service and I get to sit on the beach with something cold and alcoholic in my hand! Anyway.....Mike is just days away from also being retired and coming down here to beautiful Rodanthe, NC! Can't wait!

Countdown to Retirement
Well here it is, the home stretch! Today is the last day of school with the students! These darn kids keep making me tear up! Tomorrow is the last day for faculty and then to quote Mike, "is the start of the weekend that never ends"!

Spent all Memorial Day weekend loading the motorhome. It's really hard trying to decide what you really need to live for the next 2 years and what is just "fluff"! Today the MH will get all new tires, then off it goes to get a front end alignment. Hope this is all we need to do to it before we hit the road. - Pam
Count down til retirement
4 student days and 1 faculty day until retirement! As Mike put it: next Saturday is the start of the weekend that never ends! - Pam
